This fabric has an extra middle melt blown layer and this is what makes it very strong and bulky. Four layers of extra thick protection mean that your precious automobile is completely protected when you know that you have covered it with a Coverbond 4. Here are some of the special features of Coverbond 4… Its outer layers are soft but strong: The two top layers of the car cover are constructed from a polypropylene / polyethylene composite. These layers take advantage of the best features of both polymers: the superior softness of polyethylene, with the incredible strength and sure stability of polypropylene. Dust Barrier: A melt-blown polypropylene layer serves as a barrier to most dust, dirt and pollution. The multi-layer construction provides substantially better dust protection when you compare it to traditional woven, single-layer fabric car covers. It has the softest, paint protecting inner layer: The high-loft polypropylene / polyethylene inner layer pampers and protects the vehicle's paint finish. These are the same materials that have been designed by Italian technology for some of the softest car covers. And if it's soft enough for a baby's skin, the car cover has to be soft against your vehicle's paint. The extra thickness of Coverbond 4 gives added protection from minor dings, small hails, nicks and damage from other hazards. The added layer improves water resistance while keeping breathability quite high – this is a unique combination that was traditionally impossible to offer. But now it has been made possible by Coverking. Since the fabric has highly breathable, it allows moisture to circulate thus saving your vehicle from corrosion and rust. And another great thing about these covers is that they are made from a single cloth unlike some other covers that have are patches of cloth and have seams running, which almost certainly come off thus rendering the cover useless.
